Romanian legislation on packaging and packaging waste

Government Decision no. 621/2005 regarding the management of packaging and packaging waste, amended and supplemented;
Order no. 1281/1121/2005 on the methods for identifying containers for different types of materials for selective collection purposes;
Order no. 2742/2011 approving the procedure, criteria for authorization, reauthorization, revision, annual approval, issuance and cancellation of operating licenses, the minimum percentage of recovery for packaging waste collected from the population, and the economic operators responsible for meeting annual recycling and recovery targets, as well as the approval of the authorization commission composition;
Order no. 794/2012 on the procedure for reporting data related to packaging and packaging waste.

Emergency Government Ordinance 31/2013 amending and supplementing Emergency Government Ordinance 196/2005 regarding the Environmental Fund;
Emergency Government Ordinance 196/2005 on the Environmental Fund, amended and supplemented;
Order no. 549/2006 approving the model and content of the “Declaration of obligations regarding the Environmental Fund” form, along with the instructions for completion and submission, amended and supplemented;
Order no. 578/2006 approving the methodology for calculating contributions and fees owed to the Environmental Fund, amended and supplemented.

Ministerial Order no. 951/2007 approving the methodology for developing regional and county waste management plans;

Government Decision no. 128/2002 on waste incineration, amended and supplemented;
Order no. 756/2004 approving the technical norms on waste incineration;
Order no. 1274/2005 regarding the issuance of environmental permits upon cessation of waste disposal activities, such as landfill and incineration, amended.
